Installation once you have decided to use the glue down floor method make sure that you leave a large enough expansion gap depending on the hardwood product you chose from the wall to allow the wood to contract and expand. Slip tongues can be used but are not mandatory. The glue down method of engineered wood flooring installation is typically the most common and creates a highly stable floor. Tape it all together spread your glue and set your taped panel into the glue and on your line.

My answer to that is yes and it is still warranted. If installing glue down hardwood flooring in a new house completely close the building in with all outside doors and windows in place. Subfloors that aren t flat enough must be fixed before floor installation. Gluing down solid wood flooring to concretethis is a question that i have started to receive more and more.

When working on a clean concrete subfloor the glue down method is often the go to choice.
