Garage Floor Higher Then Driveway

I would like to make a ramp going into my garage making up for the garage floor which is an 1 1 2 inches higher then driveway my truck is standard shift and i feel a ramp would make it easier to get in to the garage maybe use a 2x12 and cut it on an angle or use a 1x12 put wedges underneath then fasten to concrete with tapcons or lead anchors.

I can t see anyone making you rip up a driveway for being the wrong height if there is adequate drainage. This makes it extremely difficult to get motorcycles in and out. I would assume that the garage slab is higher than the lawn otherwise if the lawn slope towards the street is not much water could enter the garage. In these cases it is quite alright to have a drainage channel across the garage entrance.
